SSI Receives Grade of Exceptional from General Services Administration

Springfield, VA, February 15, 2011 – SSI of Springfield, VA announced this week that it received a grade
of exceptional from the General Services Administration (GSA) for its performance under its GSA
Schedule 70 (IT Services) contract. The GSA grades its contract schedule holders twice during a five year
contract on a wide array of evaluation criteria including contract performance, maintenance of internal
accounting systems, contract schedule currency, timely reporting and fee payments, adhering to
contract scope, and compliance with Federal acquisition regulations. SSI received positive grades in all
areas. Steve Mackie, President of SSI, said, “We place a high priority on management of our GSA
contract which is the conduit for over 50% of our corporate revenue.” Mackie went on to say they are
obviously pleased with the grade and acknowledged that the GSA has done a lot over the last few years
to try and make it easier for small businesses to do business with them.
